UK ticketholder claims £46.2million share of EuroMillions jackpot

A ticket from France and a ticket from Switzerland won a third of the £138 million EuroMillions jackpot.

The winning numbers were 03, 08, 18, 34, and 49, with Lucky Stars 03 and 07.

Andy Carter from the National Lottery announced the UK EuroMillions winner and urged others to check their tickets.

EuroMillions requires seven correct numbers to win and involves multiple countries' lotteries.

Tuesday's EuroMillions jackpot is estimated at £14 million.

A garage lottery syndicate in Montrose, Angus, won £1 million on EuroMillions.

The syndicate members, including mechanics, technicians, and office staff, plan to continue working and running the syndicate.

Syndicate members have different plans for their shares, such as garden renovations, home improvements, cars, and dream holidays.

The syndicate organizer's wife initially thought the win was a scam.

Previous EuroMillions jackpots included a record £195 million win in the UK and an £800,000 win by a mother-of-two with two jobs.
