INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS

①H0(Null Hypothesis): the 10-year age break survey is that the percentage of all age groups feeling "Somewhat Dissatisfied" is 45%. Ha(Alternative Hypothesis): the 10-year age break survey is that the percentage of all age groups feeling "Somewhat Dissatisfied" is not 45%. ②H0(Null Hypothesis): the 5-year age break survey is that the percentage of all age groups feeling "Somewhat Dissatisfied" is 50%. Ha(Alternative Hypothesis): the 5-year age break survey is that the percentage of all age groups feeling "Somewhat Dissatisfied" is not 50%. Assuming you have a null hypothesis (H0) and an alternative hypothesis (Ha) for each of the above ① and ②, report your results in the APA-style results section. Briefly state the conclusions you draw from the results and comment on the strength of the evidence presented by the statistical test results: is it strong evidence or weak evidence? Why? (300-600 words) ※One usually does not report all output and arguments in the main text (e.g. test statistics for normality assumptions are not reported), but don’t forget to report test of assumptions… in the appendix. The appendix should allow me to replicate your analyses and to reproduce your analysis steps. Failure to do so will result in a mark of 0. Your appendix could, for instance, take the form of a separate R file (or a R Markdown file) with your code. Identify to which exercise the code belongs to, and comment on it where necessary.
