ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS

Use SPSS to answer the following questions

1. Construct a frequency table for the following discrete (categorical) variables: has a debit card, receives interest on the account, and city where banking is done.

2. For the account balance, construct a frequency table that has a suitable number of classes, comment on this frequency distribution.

3. For the number of ATM transactions, construct a frequency table that has an appropriate number of classes, comment on this table.

4. Calculate the mean, median, mode, Min., Max., range, variance, standard deviation, and skewness coefficient for the account balance, and the number of ATM transaction.

5. Draw the histogram for the account balance and number of ATM transaction individually.

6. From questions 4 and 5 discuss the skewness of the distribution of the account balance and the number of ATM transactions (type of skweness; left, right and symmetric; and the meaning)

7. Answer question number 4 for each city

8. Answer question number 4 for customers who have debit card

9. draw a bar chart that shows the average account balance for each city

10. Draw a bar chart that shows the maximum number of transactions for customer who have debit card and customers who don't have.

11. Draw a bar chart that shows the average account balance for each city for the customers who have debit card and customers who have not in one graph

12. Draw a bar chart that shows the percentage of customers who receive interest on the account and the customers who don't.

 13. Draw a pie chart to show the percentage of customers who receive an interest or not.

Where:

X1 = Account Balance in $

X2 = Number of ATM transactions in the month X3 = Number of other bank services used

X4 = Has a debit card (1 = yes, 0 = no)

X5 = Receive interest on the account (1 = yes, 0 = no)

X6 = City where banking is done (1:City 1 , 2:City 2 , 3:City 3, 4:City 4)
