Choose a problem with a financial aspect and try to solve it using quantitative research methods. This can be a problem for estimating relationships between variables, establishing causality, forecasting, estimating variability, and so on.

 

The following project structure is recommended:

 

• Introduction. This part describes the problem, the reasons for choosing it, and its relevance. The purpose of the research and the hypotheses shall also be disclosed.

• Methodological part. This section describes the research process, i.e. how the research will be performed. For example, what research methods will be applied, what data will be collected, how it is collected, etc.

• Research part. The results of the research and the interpretation of the obtained results are presented.

• Conclusions. It should be noted that the conclusions are not a summary of the project. The conclusions should answer the questions raised in the introduction.

 

The scope of project is not limited, i.e. there is no minimum or maximum number of pages. Tt is necessary to make references to the data sources.

The project can be done both independently and in groups. There cannot be more than 3 students in a group.

The project should be submitted through the Moodle system. It should consist of two files i.e. MS Word file describing the entire research and an MS Excel file containing all the data used in the reseacrh and the calculations made.
