Hi there,

I am kindly asking for STATA assistance as part of an essay with a very sharp deadline. The essay is a replica study based on Wulfgramm (2014)  (see .pdf attached) using data ESS Germany wave 9 (see attached .dta file) excluding Level 2 variables (macro variables). Help is need ASAP and should include code as well as comments if stated in the below - number of pages is not applicable as I need assistance for the STATA part only. Please no telephone calls as I am having bad reception, thanks.

Code should include code for the following: 

(1)Generate descriptive statistics similar to Table 1 in Wulfgramm (2014)

(2)Generate new variable including only respondents within age 15-65

Merge employment status from values “unemployed, looking for job “ and “unemployed, not looking for job” into “unemployed”

(3)Significance test of

“Life-satisfaction depends on employment status” (hypothesis: varies if employed or not)

(4)Multivariate analysis/multiple regression including employment status, age, age^2, gender, income and education (duration in years)  only  and similar to table 3 including comments on own results as well as on similarities and differences to Wulfgramms (2014) table 3. 

(5)Test the following statements

“Life-satisfaction is influenced by income, and employment is an essential factor to income”

“Life-satisfaction and unemployment correlate with social contacts having a moderating effect”

(Social contacts = living with spouse/partner)

(4)Multivariate analysis/multiple regression describing if Employment status depends on education and is affected by gender

(5)Multivariate analysis/multiple regression describing if Employment status affects life-satisfaction with age having a moderating effect
