Students learn to use open data and make visualizations using the data made available by government of India |
Students will create an account on data.gov.in and access the free data sets available. Students will select any data set or data sets of their choice and create visualizations depicting correlation, deviation, ranking, distribution, composition and change (all 6 types are required) and post the visualization on
Students will then submit a report which contains the visualizations with appropriate interpretation. The report will contain the link where the visualizations have been posted. The report will not be accepted without the link.

Students will be evaluated on the following parameters: 1) Creativity - 5 Marks 2) Accuracy - 15 Marks 3) Presentation - 5 Marks 4) Interpretation - 5 Marks
NOTE: If the visualization of the student is selected as the visualization of the day by the government, he/she will be eligible to get 100% i.e. full 30 Marks.
