INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS

This course is technically a political science class but the actual material is statistics and R programming.

I will only pay in full once I review at least ¾ of the work and consider the following requirements as satisfied:

1. Actually answer every question. I understand this seems like an obvious stipulation but people in the past have half answered questions. They assume that I do not know what they are writing and so, they think that they can get away with doing less.

2. In line with the first stipulation, every answer needs to be in complete sentences.

3. When you are asked to interpret a statistics, do not just restate the stats you have found. Please explain what the stats mean.

4. There should be no grammar mistakes. If there are grammar mistakes, like I have had in the past, I can not trust the credibility of the work and I will not pay.

5. Once you are complete, I will need separate files for the R code and for the compiled report in PDF/Word format.

6. The R file should be neatly organized and should consist of everything used in the report.

Other notes:

When it comes to interpreting the significance of t-tests, use this precise language for the answer: state: “I reject the null hypothesis'' or “I fail to reject the null hypothesis” and why. Then, use the stats for an explanation of why. Do not use “accept”–that is wrong.

For the most part, do not use uncertain language when talking about calculations. E.g., “the mean appears to be 2.”

Instead, use precise and affirmative language when talking about calculations. E.g., “the mean

is 2.”

Some coding concepts are not statistics concepts. pnorm, for instance, is only an R concept. So, you would state the p-value is 2. Make sure you are referring to the right concept rather than taking the coding language and trying to put that into normal language.
