Use the formula we used to create the Engage_Rate variable to explain how engagement rate is calculated.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS

Questions

1. Use the formula we used to create the Engage_Rate variable to explain how engagement rate is calculated. Post hoc, see if this matches what you find via a Google search.

2. Use the ANOVA (Univariate Analysis of Variance) with Reach as the dependent variable. Ignoring the intercept tell me what the output tells us about the Main Effects (for Promote first and then Content).

3. Use the ANOVA with Engagement Rate (Engage_Rate) as the dependent variable. Ignoring the intercept tell me what the output tells us about the main effects of Content and Promotion on Enagement rate.

In your answer you need to explain the nature of any significant relationships as well. In this case, all you need to talk about is whether the relationship between (1) Content and Engagement rate and (2) Promotion and Engagement rate is positive or negative.

5. Do the relationships you found in your analysis make sense or not make sense. Give me an explanation about your findings.

6. Use the regression output to answer this question. What is the effect of being female, Aged 13-17, Aged 18-25 and over 55 on engagement rate? The key to this analysis is in the sign (+ or -) of the beta coefficients.

Notes

Did Promotion Increase the Reach?

Did New Content Have Impact?

What is the effect of promotion on Engagement Rate?

What is the effect of no content on Engagement Rate?

One of these things is not what we might expect, what is it?

Notes

Beta number high means significant

Beta coefficient means for every one increase in x what happened to y?  Only report standardized Coefficients

Less than .05 sig is significant.
