Write down the list of your independent and dependent variables. Study your dataset for several variables, using descriptive statistics in SPSS. Note down any anomalies, outliers, or extreme skews or multimodalities in your distributions that you can identify using these methods.

3) Hypothesis testing

Determine your null and alternative hypotheses. Test your hypothesis and justify on your decisions either to accept or reject.

Clearly state your research question and your hypothesis.

4) Correlation

Show output and describe correlations for several variables. Report high correlations with r-values and p-values.

5) Inferential statistics

Choose the appropriate inferential test based on your experimental design. Explain the outputs clearly, with interpretations of the important results. 

6) Report writing

Write up your results from all sets of analyses you applied to your data. 

Provide an introduction, SPSS output inserted in the body of the text, your interpretations of the output, and a clear conclusion of the whole analysis. The entire document should be no more than 7 pages.
