ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS

You are required to submit a mini-project report based on the statistical analysis according to the given criteria. The maximum page count should be six (6) pages. Convert the document into pdf format and submit it into this same "Assignment drop box."

Write your Name, Registration Number, and Student number correctly on the first page.

For the analysis, you can use the dataset you collected from any source or download it from one of the following links.

(Create an account, and then you can download free datasets.)

Instructions to select a dataset

 

It should contain at least 2 categorical variables and 2 numerical variables.

It should not contain any more than 8 variables.

If the dataset is large, you can eliminate unnecessary variables according to the requirements.

The Report should contain the following Sections:

Introduction (Maximum half a page)

The Objective of the Study (2 or 3 sentences)

Description of the Data (Maximum half a page)

Statistical Methods (Maximum half a page)

Results and Discussion (Maximum 3 pages)

Conclusion (Maximum half a page)

Screenshot/ image or part of the dataset (one page)

 

The Report should contain the following statistical analysis

 

At least one suitable graphical representation for the numerical variables

At least one suitable graphical representation for the categorical variable

Summary statistics of the numerical variable

At least one appropriate advanced statistical analysis should be performed on the dataset. (Eg: Z–test, t–test, ANOVA, Regression Analysis, etc.)

NOTE: Marks will be given according to the following criteria:

1. Correctly managing guidelines

2. Selecting a good dataset

3. Clearly mentioning the research background

4. Well-defining the correct research problem

5. Ability to select appropriate statistical methods

6. Ability to handle MINITAB software correctly

7. Correct software outputs

8. Ability to interpret the results correctly

9. Defining the correct conclusion based on the analysis

10. Well organizing the report

REMEMBER:

As this is an individual project, you are not allowed to copy work from others. If any such reports are found, marks will not be given to both students.
