Global Bikes, Inc. is an international company that sells several types of bikes in three countries, the United States, Australia, and Germany. The company currently sells five product categories of bikes and is interested in identifying its top selling products in each category and country and determining the best distribution channel for its products. To get started on the analysis, review the data file showing sales transactions by country, type of bike, product name, and sales outlet. Then analyze the data using pivot tables and charts and create an interactive dashboard that summarizes the key sales trends for the company.

Instructions:

Part 1: Download the data file bikesales_2019-2020.xlsx and save the file. Review and update the data to correct number formats and create a table for your data. Create a minimum of three PivotTables and Charts

showing the following information:

a. Sales by Country and Distribution Channel

b. Sales by Product Category and Country

c. Sales by Year, Product Category, and Product (include drill-down capabilities on your dashboard to the product level)

Part 2: Dashboard

On a separate worksheet labeled “Dashboard,” create an interactive dashboard showing the sales information for the company. Add a title and professional formatting to your dashboard and insert slicers so the data can be filtered by product category, distribution channel, and country.

Please be creative with your dashboard and use your own design elements (logo, colors, fonts, layout, etc.).

File Submission:

Upload a single Excel data file with worksheet tabs clearly labeled (Data, Analysis, and Dashboard) to the Assignment folder in CougarVIEW and keep a copy of your completed work. Be sure to check all slicer connections to ensure your dashboard is interactive.

Note: This is an individual assignment and your submission must be your original work to receive credit.
