I have been a nurse for over twenty years and an educator in the healthcare industry at both the community college and university level for over ten years. As part of my role as a healthcare educator, I have helped to write curriculum and submit it for approval by the State and implemented the courses in various healthcare programs. In that role, I also developed courses for continuing education as it relates to the medical field. I also participated in student recruiting and retention programs at both the university and community college levels. In addition to college-level instruction, I also have had the privilege of teaching various dual enrollment courses to high school students enrolled in a college path of study.
