I spent 15 years in public education, teaching high school mathematics for the first 6.5 years followed by 8.5 years of the building-level administration. For 5 of those years, I taught all high-level classes ranging from Honors Precalculus to AP Calculus AB. Since leaving the classroom, I have tutored numerous students both formally as well as informally, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have always considered my talents in helping students to understand the basic as well as complex principles of mathematics to truly be innate.
