Exercise 2: Domestic Extremism in the United States In 2019 the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) designated “conspiracy theory-driven domestic extremists” as a domestic terror threat, specifically mentioning the QAnon conspiracy theory.

Then, in 2020, the National Defense Authorization Act required the FBI and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to produce a joint report examining available data on domestic terrorism. You are an FBI data analyst working on this report, and your boss asks you to provide a preliminary examination of the following question: what kind of people support QAnon?
