Task Summary
For this individual assessment, you will be required to research and write a 1500-word report on agile methods, processes, and the agile approach. This report needs to be written from the perspective of explaining Agile to someone who has no understanding of the Agile approach, as if it is being implemented in an organisation for the first time. Agile has several different frameworks or methodologies however Scrum roles, processes and tools/artefacts are found in most if not all Agile frameworks.
The above diagram covers the 3 different Scrum roles, 4 Scrum Ceremonies, and Scrum artefacts - it represents Scrum ‘in a nutshell’. Your report must describe and explain the components of this diagram:
a. Describe the scrum roles and what they are responsible for.
b. Describe the Agile ceremonies and what is done in each ceremony.
c. Explain how the scrum roles participate in these ceremonies.
d. How do the ceremonies contribute to the three pillars of Scrum?
e. Which agile principles from the Agile Manifesto align to which ceremony, artefact and/or practice, explaining why you believe this to be the case.
f. Where does the Business Analyst fit in to this picture and what contributions do they make to the various artefacts and ceremonies that you have discussed?
Context
As organisations have started to adopt an Agile approach to software development, the role of the Business Analyst has evolved from longer analysis and design activities done from initiation to completion, to a world where software is produced iteratively is smaller release in sprints. For you to succeed in a role as an Agile Business Analyst will require an understanding of agile methods processes and approaches.

The report is brief and therefore will not require and executive summary or abstract.

3. Introduction (175-200 words): Also serve as your statement of purpose for the report. This means that you will tell the reader what you are going to cover in your report. You will need to inform the reader of:

c) What the reader can expect to find in the body of the report
4. Body of the report (1000 – 1100 words)

5. Conclusion (175 – 200 words): summarise any findings that the report puts forward regarding the concepts covered in the report.
