Excel Project
Guidelines
1. This project is mandatory to be submitted.
2. Submit the project before the deadline. Otherwise, it will result in
minus marking or cancellation of the assignment.
3. If anyone fails to submit the project, he/she may lose an opportunity for good
placement.
4. If we find anyone who has copied or submitted the same assignments. It will
result in the cancellation of submission or -10 Marks will be allocated to the
students.
5. You can use any type of Dataset.
6. The project Dataset should contain at least 300 rows and 8 columns.
7. Try to make it more creative and attractive so that you can use it in your
Resume, LinkedIn, Kaggle, or GitHub.
8. Research the project on the internet.
9. In this project, you have to create a Dashboard in Excel. A dashboard is a
consolidated display of many worksheets and related information in a single place.
It is used to compare and monitor a variety of data simultaneously. The different
data views are displayed all at once.
Dashboard Should Contain:
1. At least 10 -15 Problem Statements related to data.
2. Depending upon the Problem Statements you have to create different Charts.
3. Make a Dynamic Dashboard
4. Everything related to Chart should be well explained.
Steps to do the Project
1. Choose any Topic.
2. Find the Dataset for it.
3. Seek some knowledge about how to make a more attractive Dashboard with
additional functionality (if any) in Excel from the Internet.
4. Analyze the Dataset, and find the problem statement related to it.
5. Start building your Dashboard according to Problem Statement.
6. After the Project completes making a video explaining your Project and conclusion
(max 2 min). The video should be in a presentation format.

8. Prepare your Project report including:
● 1 slide on Problem statement and source of data.
● 1 Executive Summary slide explaining the outcome/results of the Analysis
● Basic Analysis slides (charts and visuals to be used mandatorily)
● Conclusion and Next Steps
● Excel file containing the detailed analysis
