DBA Professional Learning
In the Westcliff University Catalog website DBA program, various professional learning objectives are prepared, but one related to the future profession is to articulate how transformational leadership can advance the business objectives implementation no matter the business location (Westcliff University, 2022). Transformational leadership fosters environments where workers and organizations may work together to achieve a common goal. Employees are mentored and modelled by transformational leaders, who encourage people to grow, innovate, and make good changes by mentoring as well as modelling their behaviour. Although there are no hard and fast criteria for being a transformational leader, individuals who practice it emphasize many actions.
I can apply this PLO to my current internship job as a transformational leader motivating & encouraging followers to take part in molding a successful organization future. A common example is establishing a group's shared purpose—a concept founded in an organization's official "mission" and "vision," two features’ leaders are using to help define and explain goals. Then I must be able to lead the organisation in establishing or reinventing its basic principles to bring everyone together in a common cause. In addition, I can improve the business objectives implementation with intellectual stimulation, individualized consideration, inspirational motivation, idealized influence, and persistence through conflict (Aurora University, 2020).
Yes, there are areas for improvement regarding this PLO in my internship job; thus, the recommendation for that includes practising self-awareness, self-manage & working independently, motivating & setting vision, need to be innovative & adaptable, being proactive, open-minded, leading with humility etc.DBA Professional Learning
