we plan to address students love of their majors/ what is in their hearts?/do they love it/ reason for choosing that major?
collecting it from the class sample or making up data to fit our hypothesis just joking we are collecting class samples.
we want to collect their majors, do they love their majors, and reasons for doing that major?
my only concern was that my sample size was limited and somewhat biased
so basically to collect our data we posted it on the class group forum and had the students respond?
For analyzes first we would take their majors and then separate them into different majors and then from those majors we would see if they love it and compare it to those in their majors that don’t love it and then from there we would look at the reason why they are doing it and from there we compare it to if they love it or not for example if a student says they love their major but they were forced to then it would show that this person does not really love their major that they are lying or they just saying it because everybody else is saying it or it is the popular thing to say or because it is expected from them To improve the study we could get a bigger sample population and make it more anonymous so people would be less scared to tell the truth.
